Meet Brooke

For as long as she can remember, Brooke has had her mind set on designing, planning, and managing experiences for others. As early as grade school, Brooke recalls being completely in awe of her grandmother’s and mother’s ability to host the best parties. They were both able to creatively plan unique events that attendees always had the most fun at. As Brooke grew up, she ran for many leadership positions and signed up to put together school dances, fundraising events, and even began planning birthday parties in her community! When she realized this was something she could do for a living, she ran with it!!

She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in Experience Industry Management (formerly known as Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration) with a concentration in Event Planning and Management.

Brooke understood that the best events require a solid TEAM. She was determined to learn all facets of an event so that she could empathize and best understand each role required for perfect event execution. She held various positions in catering, floral design, event coordination, and venue management as she completed her degree. Following this, she worked at Pebble Beach Resorts and gained experience catering to a new clientele as she executed their world class events including the AT&T Pro-Am Golf Tournament, Pebble Beach Food and Wine, and Concours d’Elegance. However, she was so determined to be back in the Central Coast that she jumped at the opportunity to be the Banquet & Events Manager at the San Luis Obispo Golf and Country Club. There, she was the Club’s sole planner, responsible for organizing 250+ events annually as she mastered the art of hospitality and managing guest experiences. Weddings were always her absolute favorite, which led her to her position as the Events and Marketing Director at Pepper Tree Ranch, a premiere wedding venue in the heart of Edna Valley.

After many years of being enveloped in the local hospitality industry, she is excited to share her client’s vision and her love for events through wedding design, planning, and execution under Brooke Nicole Events. Brooke has a true passion for the industry and constantly strives to exceed her client’s expectations. She is confident that her background, industry knowledge, and love for connecting with people is so unique, and can guarantee a day that her clients will remember for years to come.
